Doors & More are pleased to announce the launch of a new range of Folding Sliding Door systems.
The Canberra and Fotherby will add to the already established VUFold range of Folding Sliding Doors.
With the addition of the two new ranges this will give the consumers a far bigger choice not only in finishes but door configurations.
The Canberra come in a base coat as standard but is also available in Light Oak and Baltic fully finished. Glazing bars can also be added to give the doors that Georgian effect.
The system comes in a variety of sizes ranging from 1800mm wide up to the maximum width of 4200mm.
It is also available in 18 different door configurations allowing the customer to have much more choice.
Building on the popularity of the Canberra, the Fotherby Tri Folding Doorset is constructed from 44mm engineered softwood components glazed with 16mm Low E Argon gas filled units.
Available in three different widths either unfinished Hardwood or a fully finished Softwood the Fotherby is a welcome addition to the Award winning Doors & More collection.

Canberra
A modern concept in Sliding Folding doors, the Canberra combines the style and elegance of a classic french door, with the space saving benefits of a sliding door. The sliding and folding mechanism allows for full opening access to both the internal living space and the outdoor Sliding Folding or garden area. Even when closed the full height glazed doors bring in maximum light, so even on cold and wintry days you’ll reap the benefits of the Canberra.
Whether your home is traditional or contemporary, the Canberra will enhance it beautifully. Manufactured in timber, the doors can simply be stained, or painted to match your colour scheme.
The Canberra has been designed to keep the worst of the British weather at bay. The attractive hardwood door panels are supplied with 24mm Low E insulating glass units (meeting the requirements of Approved Document L 2002). Doors are supplied base coat stained as standard or primed, as an option, for you to finish yourself. Fully finished stained, (Baltic or Light Oak) or white painted finishes are also available.
The doors are fixed through the head directly into the lintel, which holds the doors and mechanism in place. The head track has pre-drilled clearance holes for structural fixings to go through into the lintel. The doors are hung on pre-fitted wheeled carrier sets, allowing for smooth operation. The doors simply slide and fold against each other into the corner of the frame and are available in several folding configurations, depending on the opening width, of 3, 4, 5 and 6 leaf.
The frame is supplied in a pack for site assembly. The doors are supplied glazed, pre drilled and packed separately. Full fitting instructions are supplied for on site assembly
We can supply the Canberra in a range of made to measure widths up to a maximum of 4.2m. The height will remain standard at 2100mm. We also offer standard fretting options, such as all-bar. Call us to discuss your requirements.

Our hinged Sliding Folding doors have three fixing points with further security options. Ventilators are fitted to all our Sliding Folding doorsets.
