Distance Selling Regulations 2000

Under the distance selling regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on our website for a full refund. You are entitled to a seven day “cooling off” period from the date you receive the goods. This does not include any item which has been ordered to your specific bespoke requirements, including various non standard items. Should you wish to check if your item is non standard and bespoke to yourself before you place the order then please contact our sales department on 01205 363999.

To cancel an order you can email us or write to us (see contact page for details) within seven days of delivery of your items, quoting your order number and name. You must take reasonable care of the goods and must not use them. Goods must be returned to Doors & More or we can arrange collection for you at a cost of £100.00. Once the goods have arrived back at Doors & More we will issue a refund by cheque, providing the goods are in the same condition in which they were sent.

Damaged Goods

When the goods are delivered please check carefully on arrival that the goods and/ or packaging are in good condition. If the goods / packaging are in a good condition please sign the delivery note “received in good condition” Upon inspection if you see signs of damage then please mark the delivery accordingly. If this is not completed correctly it can affect the claim with the carriers.
If signs of damage are seen then you must confirm all damage to Doors & More within 24 hours.

Returns Policy

We have detailed below our returns policy and how we calculate the refund. The Doors & More refund policy does not affect your statutory rights. However once your order has been processed we charge a 25% handling change on cancellation of any special order. We require the cancellation to be advised in writing either by post or by email.

The term “special order” is any order which we do not have in stock and we need to order as a special from our suppliers on your behalf. These usually take 21 days to arrive from the date of order. The handling fee does not apply to the carriage charge.

If the order is for a none special item i.e. an item which we carry in stock and you wish to cancel the order before it is despatched from us, this will be possible, however we will charge a 5% handling fee. If the goods have been despatched then it will be the customer’s responsibility to return the goods to us and we will charge a 15% re stocking fee.
